George T. Cochran

George T. Cochran, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away September 13, 2022. He was born May 6, 1956 in Anderson, Indiana to the late Keith Hanson and Dorothy Alice Cochran. He grew up in Anderson, Indiana and graduated from Anderson High School in 1974. He attended Indiana University in Bloomington, joining Delta Upsilon Fraternity. He received his Bachelor of Science3 in Real Estate Administration from the Kelly School of Business in 1978 and was later part of a program that mentored students in the business school. George married his college sweetheart, Ann Beavers on July 22, 1978. George spent his entire real estate career in Indianapolis. He retired from Innovcare as Director of Operations and Development in the spring of 2022. Other firms he worked for included Lillibridge Healthcare Services, Cassidy Turley Midwest Inc., Lauth Property Group, Crown Property Group LLC, Marsh Supermarkets, Inc., Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and Basic American Industries. George was also the owner of Endurance Management, LLC, a real estate property management, leasing and consulting company for almost 24 years. George was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. He was active in Bible study and fellowship activities. He was an IU sports fan who enjoyed fishing, boating, skiing and golf. Most of all George loved spending time with family, coaching and attending his children’s many activities. He loved spending time with family and friends at their lake cottage on Klinger Lake. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel, 9900 Allisonville Road, Fishers, IN 46038 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46260 on October 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. George is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Ann Cochran; sons, Scott Cochran and Greg Cochran (Caitlin); daughter, Kristin Carter (Steve); granddaughter, Elsie Carter; grandson, George Carter; brother, Jeffrey Cochran; sister, Carolyn Peat (John); and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to PanCAN or Second Presbyterian Church.
