Vera L. Ferguson

Vera L. Ferguson, 93, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away January 8, 2021. She was born June 19, 1927 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Milton Gribble and Blanch (Crow) Gribble. Vera graduated high school and married Charles A. Ferguson. She was a devoted wife and enjoyed owning a fishing resort in Tennessee and a real estate business in Hawaii. Vera is survived by her nephew, Reed Mills (Beverly) and sister, JoAnn Crist. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charles A. Ferguson. A Visitation will be held Friday, January 15, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15th at Washington Park East, 10612 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219. Final care and arrangements are entrusted to Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel.
