Steven Timothy Beaupre

Steven Timothy Beaupre, 81, of Indianapolis, went to his eternal home on May 28, 2025 after being surrounded by his devoted wife, children and grandchildren who he loved deeply. He was born December 9, 1943 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late James Vincent and Dorothy Frances (Edwards) Beaupre. Steven was a 1961 graduate of Cathedral High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, and married his beautiful and loving wife, Mary Lou Hickey August 26, 1967. Steven was a skilled bricklayer for Thomas Williamson Construction for 40 years, retiring in 2004. He was a longtime member of Little Flower Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and IUBAC Local #4. Steve had many titles throughout his life: son, brother, husband, father, Papa, uncle, cousin, and friend, but he will forever be known as “The Legend” by all who knew and loved him. Steve was a hardworking man who always provided for his family. He not only worked hard, but he played hard. Steve always enjoyed spending time with his family, especially at Sugar Creek, Lake Lemon, and South Haven, Michigan where he made many memories and started many traditions that his family will continue for many years to come. He enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, playing words with friends and scrabble, scratching lottery tickets, eating sweets, spending time with his furry friends and especially fishing. He loved ice fishing and was so happy this past winter that he was able to go “one last time.” Steve was selfless to his family and friends as well as to strangers he saw in need. He was the second father and grandfather to many who lost loved ones and Steve loved them as his own. There were many times he stopped to lend a helping hand or pay it forward. His beautiful blue eyes, big smile, sense of humor and heart of gold will be missed for sure, but his legacy will live on. While we are saddened by his death, we are at peace knowing he is finally home with our Lord, his parents, his brother, Jim, and sister, Jeanne, who he greatly missed and who we are certain welcomed him HOME. Visitation will be Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 East Washington Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, 4720 East 13th Street. Steven is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary Lou Beaupre; children, Amy M. Beaupre, Steven V. Beaupre (Stephanie), Denise A. Boring (Jay), Michael J. Beaupre (Adrienne Doyle), and Karen L. Roberson (Greg Blackman); siblings, Nancy A. Braun (John), Joseph K. Beaupre (Kay), Suzy D. McDaniel (Bill), and Carol A. Beaupre; grandchildren, Lilly Boring, Luke Beaupre, Celia Boring, Amelia Roberson, Chris Beaupre, Colin Boring, Nate Beaupre, Cate Roberson, Quinn Beaupre, Brennan Roberson and Brigit Roberson; countless nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews as well as great, great nieces and nephews; and grand dogs who brought him much joy. He was preceded in death by his brother and his wife, James Beaupre (Patricia); his sister and her husband, Jeanne Wyatt (David); and his uncle, Walter Edwards. In lieu of flowers, we would like you to consider making a memorial contribution to Little Flower Parish, 4720 East 13th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46201, Flamingo Gardens for ANIMAL CARE, 3750 S.
