    Ryan Matthew Dubree

    May 15, 1983 - February 12, 2022

Ryan Matthew Dubree, 38, of Indianapolis, passed away February 12, 2022. He was born May 15, 1983, in Indianapolis to Neal Dubree and Toni Bouldin Dubree. Ryan married April Tennell in 2002 and shortly after started a family, which he always felt was his biggest accomplishment in life. He loved his wife and children with all his heart and made sure they knew it daily with his amazing hugs, and never wasted an opportunity to tell them he loved them. Ryan was a huge gearhead and a MacGyver man that was always everyone’s first call when they needed advice or something fixed. He always involved his children in his projects to share his passion and to teach them skills to be as resourceful as he was. Ryan worked as an RV technician for over six years for Mt. Comfort RV and was treated like family by the owners as well as his bosses and co-workers. He previously was a volunteer firefighter and medical responder for which he received rookie of year in 2012. He loved working on cars, trucks and motorcycles. Ryan loved camping and was a member of Nameless Off Road 4-Wheeling Family, and the Buell and EBR Motorcycle Clubs. Ryan did so much in a short time and always did everything at full speed and then would always find a way to make it even faster and more exciting. There was never a dull moment with Ryan. He had a quiet demeanor, but when he spoke people always listened because it was worth hearing his quick wit and inappropriate jokes. He never knew a stranger and will be dearly missed by so many. Visitation will be Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 East Washington Street. Ryan is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, April A. Dubree; three wonderful children, Dominic Matthew Dubree (Alexandra), Connor Riley Dubree and Ryleigh Grace Dubree; parents, Neal (Noyda) Dubree and Toni (Carl) Pugh; siblings, Johnna (Nick) Richardson, Brandon (Kayla) Dubree and Jesse Pugh; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Bouldin; maternal grandfather Raeleigh Mason Bouldin; paternal grandmother Karen Gibbs; parents-in-law, Dayne and Michelle Tennell; grandmother-in-law, Mary Holman; sisters-in-law, Stephanie (Zach) Baxter, Paris (Adam) Murray and Danielle (Alex) Zavala; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Go Fund Me account at https://www.gofundme.com/f/meals-and-expenses-for-ryan-dubrees-family?qid=65c957d639746afd9e2ecd480c35c559 in Ryan’s honor which will support expenses for his children.
