Patricia Fay Eason

August 9, 1935 - December 16, 2021

Patricia Fay Eason, 86, of Waco, Texas, formerly of Medora, Indiana, passed away December 16, 2021 after an extended illness. She was born August 9, 1935 to the late Ralph and Doris Watts Gray. She graduated from Medora High School with the Class of 1953. Fay married Rev. Gordon Eugene Eason, November 28, 1968 and he preceded her in death June 6, 1976. Fay was a member of Seymour Christ Temple for many years playing her saxophone. She later moved to Perrysburg, Ohio to be near her daughter, and her family. She faithfully attended the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Toledo, Ohio for 20 years where her son-in-law was pastor. In April of 2021, Fay moved with her family to Waco, Texas. Unfortunately, her declining health forced her to move into a long term facility where she resided until her passing. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until funeral services at 12:00 p.m. at Oak Crest Funeral Home in Waco, Texas with burial to follow in Rosemound Cemetery in Waco. Rev. Dennis W. Allman II of Seymour will officiate. Fay is survived by her loving daughter, Eugenia F. Stonerock; her son-in-law, Rev. Kirk Stonerock; two granddaughters, Aubrey D. and Chloe R. Stonerock; brother, Bernard Gray (Coleen); two sisters, Nadine Emily and Betty Bozarth; and several nieces and nephews. Her brother, Rev. E. R. Gray, and two sisters, Deborah Gray and Bonnie Reynolds, preceded her in death. Obituary and local arrangements are entrusted to Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel, Indianapolis, Indiana.
