Norma Jane Waggoner

Norma “Jane” Waggoner, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022. She was born September 18, 1936 in Lawrenceville, Illinois to the late James Leonard and Alfreda Marguerite (Mayberry) Allen. Jane was married to John H Waggoner, who preceded her in death on March 9, 1987. Jane graduated Lawrence County High School. She was a beloved, family oriented, heart of the home. She was a longtime member of Burge Terrace Baptist Church, and loved gardening, keeping up beautiful garden beds, sewing and cooking. Jane is survived by her daughters, Julia Waggoner, Kathryn VanFossen and son, Jeffrey Waggoner (Beth); her grandchildren, Jedidiah VanFossen (Jessica), Quintin VanFossen (Allyson), Kalebb VanFossen (Sarah), Colton Waggoner (Haley), Madeline Waggoner, Grace Waggoner; her great-grandchildren, Elaine Layman, Kensi VanFossen, Noah VanFossen, Emma VanFossen; great-granddaughter, Avery Layman. She is also survived by her sisters, Sue Roe, Anna Polk (Jack) and Betty Allen (Chester). Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 31 years, John Waggoner, her 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Indianapolis visitation will be Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Grace Church, 5605 S Franklin Road, Indianapolis IN 46239 from 5:00 p.m. until to 8:00 p.m. Illinois visitation will be Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Billett United Methodist Church, 67 Akin Road (Billett), St. Francisville, IL 62460, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 11:30 a.m. (Central Standard Time).
