Margaret "Marge" Janusz

Margaret “Marge” Wirt Janusz, 92, from New Albany, Indiana passed away peacefully on June 12, 2022 in McCordsville, Indiana. She was born November 2, 1929 in Christiansburg, VA, to the late Hogue and Myrtle Wirt. Marge was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was retired from selling real estate for Parks & Weisberg (Schuler Realty) in New Albany. Marge was active with the National Real Estate Association of Indiana and served on the township zoning board for many years. Marge was a vital member of Trinity United Methodist Church serving on various committees. She was an avid NAHS basketball fan for many years, loved playing bridge and golfing with her friends. One of her fondest memories was her hole-in-one on number 6 at the New Albany Country Club. Marge is survived by her three children, Susan Fenley, Mark Janusz (Tracy) and Margaret Olivares (Jorge); 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Janusz; her son, Stephen Janusz; and her daughter, Linda Katherine Janusz. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Trinity United Methodist Church, 2796 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150. Services are private and entrusted to Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel.
