Lenora Mae Leppert, 92, a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, passed away April 16, 2022. She was born November 7, 1929 to the late Deloss and Marie Hanna. Lenora was a graduate of Broad Ripple High School. She married William J. Leppert, May 29, 1954, and he preceded her in death July 7, 2000 after 45 years of marriage. Lenora and Bill owned and operated Power Engine Sales and Service for 50 years, she being the sole owner after Bill’s passing, retiring in 2013. She was a lifelong member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Visitation will be today, Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th St. Lenora is survived by her children, Anna Marie Leppert-Largent (Greg), Kathy Spencer, Mary Jane Linhart (Bill), Robert Leppert (Christa) and Sally Leppert (John Ballard); grandchildren, Zach, Lindsey, Stephanie, Katie, Elizabeth and Chris; step-grandchildren, Lauren Ballard and Kyle Spencer; great-grandchildren, Bobby, Owen, Ian, Wyatt, Emma and Macie; and sister, Shirley Koopman. A grandson, Mathew Linhart, preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice or Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E.10th St., Indianapolis, IN 46219.
