Herbert Eugene Everson, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away December 24, 2020. He was born March 27, 1930 in Ladoga, IN, to the late Frantz Wilson and Nannie Bell Everson. Herbert proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Korean War. He married Shirley Bloomer, and she preceded him in death October 22, 2018. Herbert was a linesman for Indiana Bell/Ameritech for 41 years. He was a longtime member of East 91st Street Christian Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir. Herbert also enjoyed bowling, golfing and taught dance lessons at Arthur Murray Academy. Herbert is survived by his children, Eric E. Everson (Debbie) and Tricia L. Snyder (Paul); granddaughter, Hayley R. Rettig; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, James, Clayton and Tom Everson. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Funeral arrangements are private and entrusted to Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel.
