Ernestine F. Proctor, 95, of Greenfield, passed away March 4, 2022. She was born March 25, 1926 in Dawson Springs, Kentucky to the late Jean Lewis and Mary Lee Bryan Garrett. Ernestine was a graduate of the Warren Central High School and received her associate degree from the University of Indianapolis. She married John H. Proctor, Jr., and was employed in the accounting division for ARA Services (now Aramark) for 23 years. Ernestine was a former member of Cumberland Christian Church and a current member of Bethel Baptist Church, Greenfield. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 12 noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. Ernestine is survived by her children, John H. Proctor III, Rebecca Johnson, Judy Craft and Mary Brewer; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Ernestine’s husband, John H. Proctor, Jr.; her son, Kirby G. Sisk; and her granddaughter, Sasha Lopez, preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 1610 S.
