It was there she taught many Cherokee children to read and write English and to cultivate a love of learning. Beth will be remembered for her devotion to her family and the love and encouragement she gave to so many of her students. She truly loved helping young people reach their fullest potential. She wanted the best for her students and encouraged them to never give up regardless of the adversities they may have faced at home. Beth was preceded in death by her parents, John and Virginia Evans; and brothers, Robbin and John (Mark) Evans.
