Bernard William Cadick, Jr.

Bernard W. Cadick, Jr. 91, a resident of Indianapolis and a previous resident of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away March 2, 2022. He was born January 22, 1931 to the late Bernard and Mary E. Cadick. Bernard (Bernie) proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. During the Korean War he was stationed in the Pentagon. While in the Air Force, he met and then married Helen I. Gliwa (also a member of the U.S. Air Force). Helen preceded him in death May 8, 1988. Bernie retired as a plant engineer from Chrysler after 24 years of service. Visitation was held Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 East Washington St. Funeral service was held there on Monday, March 7. Bernie is survived by his children, William “Bill” Cadick (Debbie Chavez), Carren Cadick, Deborah Cadick; grandchildren, Tom Cadick, Christy McKinnies, Matt Cadick, Sarah Elizondo, Jacqueline McCloskey, and Bernard Reed; and seven great-grandchildren.
