Alice L. Parnell, 83, of Greenwood, passed away January 7, 2022. She was born March 22, 1938 in New Jersey to the late Walter and Alice Clark Schlosser. Alice graduated from St. Mary’s High School and attended Indiana Central University. She married James Parnell and he preceded her in death January 30, 1994. Alice served with the Indianapolis Police Department and then as an investigator for Family Social Services for the State of Indiana. She was a member of the FOP. Memorial visitation will be Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel, 3333 E. Thompson Road. Alice is survived by her daughters, Terrie L. Ausbrooks (John), Brenda S. Ladd; sons, James A. Milligan (Barbara), Jeffrey L. Milligan; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Schlosser.
