Susie “Sue” Jane Smith, Sue began her eternal life surrounded by her loved ones in the early morning of Friday, January 7, 2022. She was a very beautiful 72 years young. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband an father to her children, Rick Smith; her parents, Ray and Doris Glover, and a few close members of her tribe. Sue resided in Noblesville for the past 46 years, where she raised her children who are her living legacy on earth, Michael, Jonathan and Erica. Sue was the hostess with the mostest. Her and Rick’s home was always buzzing with activity, entertaining friends, listening to music, late night dancing after a few cocktails and creating a space where friends could gather. The door was always open. Sue had a passion for travel. Her trips with Rick and their best friends took them to the Bahamas, Balm Beach, Bali, Thailand, Austria, Netherlands, Italy, Tahiti, Turkey and Spain and many more exotic places. However, she never said yes to a camping trip with Rick and the kids. Sue was not one for “roughing it.” Sue was stunningly beautiful and loved her friends and family fiercely and deeply. She was a timeless classy woman with impeccable style. This past 6 years she enjoyed a beautiful and exciting life with her doting love Brian Mountford. Sue opened her heart to love again, and she certainly had that in spades with her connection with Brian. She loved spending time at his home in Newcastle, Ontario and if you can believe it, he even taught her how to swing a golf club. How luck that Sue got to experience two great loves! To her grandchildren, Doran (23), Mya (21), Sullivan (14), Sawyer (12) and Harper (11) and many other neighborhood children, Sue was known as “Momere.” Momere loved traveling with her grandchildren and trips down to Siesta Key, Florida were always a highlight. Sue loved to cook, hold true to family traditions, a good crossword puzzle and her Costco Executive Membership. Sue’s celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel, 9900 Allisonville Road, Fishers, Indiana 46038. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., with family and friends speaking at 3:00 p.m. Irish wake to follow at Sue’s home following the service.
