In Loving Memory of Dawson Owen Michael Howard With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Dawson Owen Michael Howard, who left this world far too soon at the age of five. Dawson was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. He had a smile that could melt any heart and a laugh that filled every room with joy. He loved superheroes, especially Spider Man, and believed he could save the world with kindness and courage. He enjoyed playing outside, playing with his mom, dad and siblings, building with his toys, and giving the very best hugs. More than anything, Dawson was his mama's boy. The bond he shared with his mother was unbreakable - full of bedtime cuddles, whispered "I love you mores," and a love so deep it’ll last beyond this lifetime. Being his mom was her greatest blessing, and being her son was his greatest comfort. Dawson is survived by his loving mother, Georgina Browning; his father, Austin Browning; his siblings, sister Lily; brother Kohen; sister Hadley; his grandparents, Tammy Coffey Burton, Mark Burton, Jeremy Howard, Shannon Howard, Rachel McLaughlin; great-grandparents, Debbie Sowders, Gary Sowders, Mary C., Terina Davis; great great-grandparents, Rita Davis and Jerry Davis; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will forever cherish his sweet spirit. Dawson is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jeremy Davis, Arvil and Georgia Coffey, and Cindy Coffey. Laid to rest with Pauletta and Gene Curry, and Mike Howard. Though his time here was short, Dawson’s life was filled with love - and that love will carry on in the hearts of those who knew him. Our little superhero has earned his wings. Dawson’s visitation will be held Monday, February 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Christian Fellowship at 2425 S. Emerson Avenue, Greenwood, IN, 46143. Dawson’s funeral service will be Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Christian Fellowship. In honor of Dawson, the family invites guests to wear superhero attire. Spider man is reserved for immediate family. Forever five. Forever loved. Forever our baby boy. Final care and arrangements are entrusted to Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel.
