Thelma M. Covert, 94, of Indianapolis, passed away July 1, 2012. Thelma was born February 15, 1918, in Hartford City, IN. Thelma worked for Dr. John Nohl, an eastside family physician, for many years. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, 5377 E. Washington St. Thelma is survived by her loving daughters, Dian Covert and Candace Peterson; 2 grandchildren, Robert Peterson and Melissa Riggs; 6 great-grandchildren, Nash, Wyatt and Levi Peterson and Ashton, Colton and Liam Riggs. Her husband, Robert Covert, a sister, Patricia Swingley and a brother, Roscoe Shrack, have preceded her in death.
