91, was born January 2, 1919. His ship sailed the afternoon of March 8, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wives, Lucille and Peggy Fleitz, and a son, Charles L. Fleitz, Jr. Charlie is survived by his daughters, Maria-Tina (Danny) Wyrick, and Regina (Robert) Thompson; sons, David (Lindell), James, of Delaware, Phillip (Rosann), Christopher, and Joseph, of California; sister, Dorothy Hardesty, of FL; and many loved nieces, nephews, and in-laws; grandchildren, Cammi, Rachale, Terra, Phillip, Sol, and Sara, all of Indianapolis, Charles L., III, of Virginia, Zach, Josh, Sarah and Rachael, of California; great-grandchildren, Aric, Aiden, Jason, Jordan, twins Ashton and Alyssa, Anthony and Jaymison, all of Indianapolis. Charles was a freelance architectural draftsman, his designs can be found throughout the State. He was a longtime member of Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was a decorated veteran, 101st Airborne, WWII. Charles retired to Orlando, FL, and returned to Indianapolis in his later years. He enjoyed time spent with those close to him, led his life by example, and sailed to a new shore with a sure and certain confidence in his faith. Visitation will be Friday, March 12, 2010, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, 5377 E. Washington St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 435 W. Troy Ave., Indianapolis.
