William "Bill" Patrick Curtin

87, of Indianapolis, passed away March 2, 2010 at St. Vincent’s Hospital after an extended illness. He was born April 15, 1922, in Whiting, IN, to William J. and Anna Madura Curtin, who have preceded him in death.
Bill graduated from Hammond Technical High School and served four years in the U.S. Army during WWII. After being discharged in 1946, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1949 serving his country for three additional years.
Bill married Paula K. Chesser Morrical, February 15, 1970.
Bill was a Certified Master Watch Maker, owning and operating Curtin Watch Repair on East 10th St. for the past 64 years. He designed and crafted three Skeleton Clocks and also made numerous Tourbillion Pocket Watches.
Mr. Curtin was a member of the American Watch Institute, the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors and The National Rifle Association.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., at Lawrence Parks Building, 5301 N. Franklin Rd., Indianapolis, 46226.
Bill will be sadly missed by his devoted wife of 40 years, Paula K. Curtin; his loving daughter, Sharon A. Duncan, husband Don; granddaughters, Lynn Anne Arnett and Adrian Rose Leonard; son-in-law, Phil Leonard; and his faithful cats and dogs. A daughter, Mary Patricia Leonard, preceded him in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the National Kidney Foundation or the NAWCC.
