72, of Indianapolis, passed away March 3, 2010. He was born in Plati, Italy, to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Portolese Papalia. Joseph married Vincenza Molluso, and was a self-employed tailor, owning and operating “Papalia Family Tailoring”. He was a longtime member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Visitation will be Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th St. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Vincenza Papalia; children, Lisa Brown (Bart), Joseph Papalia (Shelley), Antonio Papalia, Enzo Papalia (Cheryl), and Dominic Papalia (Corella); and eight grandchildren.
